The wife and I hit the water yesterday. We couldn't find the big ones. We caught about 8 specs all about 14 1/2". Also caught three reds only one of which was a keeper. We tried some new areas for us we were near Guarantee Reef and then near Warden Camp Bayou, about 40 yards off the bank. We used live shrimp. It might have been better early, we didn't get there till mid day. Blew a hose off the turbo on my F250 and had to fix that on the side of the road. I hope to have a better report Monday. The kids are out of school so I'm taking them out.

Ok, we went back yesterday and had about the same results. Picked up one keeper trout around Nymph point I think it was. We just drifted the closest reef to the shoreline there. Live shrimp popping cork. Wind was real bad.
