  • Captians License

Just completed the course for my Captains License and everything is on the way to the Coast Guard. I found the course pretty easy but 8 days in a row for classes (including first aid and CPR) is pretty much a pain in the butt.

Has anyone seen the movie "Captain Ron"? That might be me.
Timing has a lot to do with the outcome of a rain dance.

A long while back after relating one of my boating mishaps , someone , maybe you , recommended I see that movie . I did . It was a hoot . Congratulations on the license...you have to learn all kinds of things .....navigating by compass, navigating by the constellations , estimating speed by dividing the square root of flotsom movement times the rate of evaporation of a wetted finger held aloft for 15 seconds and all such things that I would never be able to do .

Congrats. Is Victoria still working there in Rockport? Pretty barkeep at Alice Fayes a few years ago. Tell her "Jerry" says "Hi" if ya see her.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

Glad to hear you got the license Ron. I enjoyed having lunch with you the last week-end when you had to make up a day. I hope mine arrives soon!
