Jetty trip 10/19
Our owner asked me to book a trip for him and his 2 Boys (11 & 15) and he asked me to tag along.
I booked the trip with Captain Glenn Stevens of Coastal Guide Service.
We left GYB at 6:30ish and had the fist bull red in the boat by 7:00. He put us on the fish and worked hard to keep everyone up and running all morning, which is no easy task with this crowd.
The kids had an absolute blast. We had 2 big rods but only used them a few times. We spent most of the day using light spinning equipment and catching BIG fish. I don't think there was a time when someone didn't have a fish on all day.
Ryan (11yo) had a big Jack on for 30 minutes before he finally broke off. Ryan laid on the deck for 10 minutes saying "I'm so tired" before jumping back up and telling everyone he wanted another one! I didn't catch a fish until the last hour. I was having too much fun taking pics and videos and helping out with the kids.
We ended up keeping 6 big Smacks, 1 Black Drum, 4 Slot Reds and a HUGE Pompano. We also caught about 12 Bulls, Jacks and sharks.
