  • Yamaha Trim Relay

Anyone know where i can pick up or call to see if they have one in stock...i have a 2005 F225 Yamaha that i suspect needs a new trim relay. Motor will trim down but only clicks when i try to trim back up with both throttle switch and motor switch.

I have tried Meeks and Acie's both don't have one in stock...

    Thanks!

I'd call Texas Marine on Nasa Road 1 near 146 also there is Marine Max (I think) just down the street from them on Nasa 1 as your heading back towards 45.

      maybe Finish Line by Harborwalk?
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

Be sure to check your ground wire for corrosion. I just had the same thing happen on my motor. The ground wired was corroded. I cleaned it up and it had been working great for 2 months now. Mine would make a clicking noise also.Trying switching the up and down relays. If the relay is bad the other one will work. If neither work then you have a grounding issue. If you cant find one local try marinesparts.com they will have it to you in a few days.

I do think Ray has it! Same happened to me on my skiff.

..........I agree with Corndog, most electrical problems are bad/corroded grounds. You should be able to swap relays to test it also.
