Aaron and I heading out at 1 PM for an afternoon of fishing without the crowds. Bait seem to be down most of the afternoon and we really couldn't get a trout bite going, just a few dinks. Towards the end of the day as we were driving along the southshore line, we spotting a few gulls circling and diving close to the grassline. We hopped out of the boat and as we got closer we could see some pods of reds tailing and others popping shrimp on the surface. Aaron caught the first one, flipping a bass assasin at them and I hooked up shortly afterwards. We caught five keepers as the sun was setting. All the reds were stuffed full of shrimp.
