Congrats on the new kayak. Im sure u will enjoy it.

With the weather changing, I say sportsman road area will start picking up. If u cant find them in the grassline then move into deeper guts.

Good Luck and dont forget to post up report.

Nice yak. Those and the Mainstream Kingfish are the best "bang for your buck" yaks out there.

What others have said, plus Highland Bayou marsh (Louis bait camp launch), SLP Galv side (dont' get stuck), SLP Follet's side (access to TT, cold pass), S. Jetty channel side (Flounder spot), HSC @ end of Seawall (more flounder here, be safe though).

Congrats on the yak and don't forget to post up. You might want to also check TKF (TexasKayakFisherman.com) for some good kayak info, but don't forget about this site .

Went to Jones Lake to work marshes yesterday, on a tip from one of my firends that tore it up there this past weekend. After watching it rain for an hour or two, finally got out and about... Not much action... only a few rat reds in the marshes, and zip by the railroad bridge, but a fun trip nonetheless.
