Ran down to chocolate this afterrnoon lookin for bird action. Got on the water about 2 pm. Started looking for birds as soon as i left the bridge. didnt see much as i made my way down the bayou. There were some lookin, some sittin on the water, but none really working. Made my way over towards the narrows. Saw 2 birds working, stopped a picked up 3 short fish. Decided to take a look at west bay. Made my way towards sea isle area, cut across to the north shoreline and back to chocolate. Never even saw a bird just flying around. Got back to chocolate about 3:30, and someone had turned on the light switch. Birds were everywere from the channel to the narrows. At any given time there were at least 6 groups that i could see. Spent the next 2 hours catchin fish, nothing bigger than 17', but it was fun. Scratched out 2 reds also, 1 keeper 1 short.
