They're very cool to look at! It makes me wish I knew a little more about fly fishing. Maybe it would keep me out of trouble on rainy days!

I am a sometime fly fisher. I have been fishing under the lights at the Blockade Runners in Titlum-Tatlum Bayou recently when the wind isn't howling and I can get my line out. I know some will say it is like shooting fish in a barrel, but it is fun none the less, especially when you catch them on flies that you have tied. I don't have any pics of the flies that I use there. I will by next weekend. I do use a tube type fly. It is a mylar mesh with chartruse hair, white feathers, and silver flashabou. It is a larger fly that the trout think are a small mullet. Pictures will be forth coming...Vic

Do you fish with the barbed hook on all your flies ? Nice patterns .
