  • Limit on the Fly

    After watching the low tides all day I decided to go out for a couple of hours this evening.

    I landed 4 reds on the fly rod between 21" and 29" on the white grass shrimp pictured below.

              Nice going! Excellent haul, if it get's to shallow for your kayak give me a call we'll go in the Gator-Tail

                  There's plenty more out there. I went to spot I hadn't checked out at all this morning and saw a bunch of fish. Too bad I couldn't coax any of them to take a fly but they hit a topwater willingly.

                  I had to look up Gator-Tail to figure out what it was. I've seen mud motors in the marsh before but when it gets too skinny I think the noise of the boat and motor would spook the fish fairly easily, especially when half of the redfish is sticking out of the water.
