P.O.I.N.T Tournament April 3rd and 4th!!!
The P.O.I.N.T. Handicapped Drum Fishing Tournament will be held this year on April 3-4 at the GYB.
If anybody wants to volunteer your boat and your fishing expertise to this worthwhile event, contact Dutch Kueteman at (409) 935-4131. Each boat must be at least 18' and have at least one deckhand.
If you would like to volunteer in other ways such as shore duty, tent duty, donate auction items, etc, contact Brent Novelli at (409) 771-0994.
There is a captain's meeting Friday evening, and fishing usually begins at 8:30 Saturday morning and concludes at about 2:00 with awards and festivities following.
I will be in again this year. It's a lot of fun, and it's for a very good cause. I hope to see some of you other WEAs out there this year.
