  • Fly rod sale

I have several rods in my garage that aren't getting used anymore due to newer stuff. These would be great for someone wanting to get started with a quality rod without the new rod price, or if you need a back up rod.
They are All Star rods that were built here in Houston, from the same materials as the Titanium rod series, with Titanium coated guides that are very corrosion and abrasion resistant.

    I have:

4 piece 4 weight, brand new, never got a chance to cast or fish this rod. $115

2 piece 6 wwight, used and I love it! Caught a lot of reds on this rod, it's great for fishing the lights or flats on a light wind day. $95

2 piece 7 weight, in great condition, nearly new. This is probably the best casting rod in the series that we designed! Great flats rod for Texas. $115

4 Piece 7 weight, same as above only travel. Used and shows some wear to the finish, but still great. $95

4 piece 9 weight, very slight use, in excellent shape. This rod was the casting cannon of the series. Great for high wind days, small tarpon or permit, or even light offshore use.
    $115

2 piece 10/11, Brand new, never cast! This would make an excellent tarpon or off shore rod. $115

For reference, these rods were $399 if purchased new. I just have too many and several new rods on the way from TFO and Orvis. If you are interested in any of them, give me a call or PM. 281-352-6289. Steve

I really don't have much in the way of reels. I may have an old medalist style reel but nothing that would be considered nice.

i found an old Shakespear reel. It wouldn't be any good for saltwater, but okay for fresh and for practice casting. I don't have a 6 weight line though. You are more than welcome to the reel, not charge, it isn't worth much.
