Little night fihing 12/23/10

Wanted to and all nighter but ended up arriving at our launch at 4:30 am. As soon as we got there the wind started creeping up coming strong from the east. TumTum and I went on the hunt for trout, but ended up catching my personal best red fish. 27 inch and 6.5 lbs, biggest upper slot red fish for me. Only fisher two hours, and the wind picked up too much to handle. So called it quits...

Not a bad day, but think it would of been better fishing all night... till next time!

Wind: East and blowing hard
Location: Scattered shell and mud in 3-4 ft of water
Bait: mirrodine catch5

Best part of the day is that we broke in the check it stick, bogga, tackle box, and new lure.

Nice, those catch 5's are a good fat suspending bait.

Isn't night fishing nice? Especially really late, you get the whole place to yourself.

Its different, but I like it.. What is really different is using the Suspending Lures. I think i would of had more fis if I would of set the hook everytime I taught lure got stuck on the rocks.... By the time I got the courage to try and setting the hook, without worring about loosing the lure, I came out with this nice mama. Well till next time (saturday night)
