Tilt on a '98 yamaha 150 vmax

i got a '98 150 yamaha Vmax and my my tilt is not working but my trim is. Just wanted to get some info.

Sounds like your tilt&trim relay has gone bad on one side,you can test with a test light to see if your getting power when switching,if you are getting power could be a bad relay,if not a bad switch.There are 10 pins on the relay to check. My relay on my 98 Yamaha went out this year. I wired it in with 2 automotive relays for $10 vs $130 for Yamaha relay.
