launched at rainbow marina.went to entergy cooling water outfall canal.was surprised that the water temp was only .8 degrees warmer than the river.fishing with finger mullet , shrimp and plastics but no takers.

made run to middle pass then into the lake.birds working but scattered and eratic.made several drifts using mullet and shrimp and tried several soft plastics.wind out of southeast lake bumpy.caught 2 slot reds 1 on shrimp 1 on mullet also caught 1 slot size black drum.made early exit as worked night before.when cleaning noticed all fish full of med sized shrimp.was cold and bumpy but still a great day to be on the water which they all are . blessed to be able to go. always thankfull.
