Well, I finally sent my rsvp for the event. I will be there, tying a few flies and talking some fishing trash... Should be a lot of fun, with Borski, and a bunch of great local tyers. And no, I'm not inculding myself in that last statement. We can just call me a local tyer.

Very cool stuff. I got a hall pass for Sat so I am planning on attending, maybe participate in a few casting games...and probably lose, but anything to get that poor trout tourney showing off my back!

I didn't even think about the casting games. Good thing the weather is going to settle down. Look forward to seeing you there Brandon.

I'm still on the fence on whether or not I'm going to make this event. I want to go but I don't know if I want to give up a day of fishing.

With a low that morning of 36, I think you should look at flies in the am and fish in the pm.

Attended and this was a very cool event. The craftsmanship and inventivness these guys have is pretty impressive. It was great to see Steve (Shallowist) there too.

It was a fun event, quite a few Westenders there. Flynut, Tidalguide, skiffstiff, JPChavez, Oleander Kayaker, maybe a few more that I'm missing. Some great fly tyers, and a then there was me..... Tied up a few flies, talked to quite a few nice people and even got to cast fly rods in that warm air today and talk to the TFO sales rep.

Good to see you as well Mark. it'll be 20 years next February and probably an even bigger event.

Im glad I made it out today. Its always good to make these events (bad weathear or not). You can learn so much from these tyier's. I wished Borski could of made it, but it still was alot of fun. It was nice to finaley meet Skiffstiff and a few others. Also thanks Steve for that killer trout fly that you tied for me. Now I need to go catch a big trout on that fly.
