I am going out this coming Saturday 4/24/10. There is supposed to be rain with a small tiny front coming thru. I am reading all the fishing reports...and it is starting to look better. I must take advantage of the warmer water temp's. Getting myself out there to the jetty's. Maybe a few offshore rig's. That of course is depending on the wave heights. That I will be keeping..a close eye on. It's gonna be a slammer-

Ya, you really should keep a weather eye out for the front, especially this time of year. Those "tiny ones" have a way of growing up when you least expect it; i.e., Lake Livingston about 15 years ago, and many others. I'm sure you know how fast it can turn ugly. Hope you have a great trip & let us know how you do.

Rain, no prob
Your right about the rain. It's the lightning that is a bummer. Just remember that the lightning is looking for the shortest ground and you are the highest point on the water. And those graphite rods and boat antennas conduct very well!Fishwhisperer
