  • Rip Smock Hunting and Fishing in the 40's

I posted this link on TOS several years ago before I knew about FWE, so some of you may have already seen them before. I just ran across them again while doing a Google search.

What you are about to see is a time when hunting and fishing trips lasted for days and not just a few hours out of your day. A time before $700 rod and reel set ups, $300 polarized sunglasses, $15K outboards, $50K bay boats, GPS, Google Earth images, trolling motors, front and rear casting decks, depth finders, fish finders, power poles, jack plates, internet fishing forums, semi-auto shotguns, neoprene waders, yeti coolers, Mossy Oak, etc..........

I could only imagine what hunting and fishing with these guys would have been like. I bet they would think our fishing boats looked like space ships.
