I went out Thursday and Friday and found two very different days.
Thursday- N wind blowing way too much, found a shoreline with nervous bait and caught 2 good sized flounder and a couple of slot reds.
Friday- Not as much bait activity in the morning, caught a couple of good flounder, but released hoping for a pair of bigger ones. Caught about a dozen more 8-13"ers. Sight casted a couple of slot reds when I found a gang of bullies picking on a shoreline of bait.
While targeting flounder I caught a dink trout to round out the Slam, Even sight casted a Sheepshead that followed a plastic for a few feet but she got boat shy and turned tail.
Not killing them, but two good days spent on the water. If anyone was in in New Bayou in a skiff with a poling platform playing Classic Rock,,,, turn it up a little bit ☺
