Found some birds again and was doing pretty well just no keepers. Saw a boat creeping my way so I tried to play it down. Actually caught a keeper while he was coming over but tossed it back hoping he would turn away. He didn't. He was in a big boat with no trolling motor and went right through them. He passed some birds coming to me but I am guessing since he saw me catch he decided there were no fish under the other birds. There were a couple other flocks but there were people fishing them and since I don't have a trolling motor on my jetski I did not want to be that guy I passed. Went back to my second spot and tried top. Nothing...not a swirl...switched to a floating fat boy and it was on. Caught and released several with the biggest at 24". Moved to another spot when that slowed down and knocked out a few more keepers and a few small ones. Kept 2 @ 19" and 20" for the fryer. Ended with 7 or so that would have been keepers. Even the small ones were fat.

Thanks. I will start a thread with some ski pictures I have.

I am going after flatties this Sunday. Bringing a couple friends that aren't as experienced....Glad the limit is going back up to 5 but seems the population is strong without it.
