Ryan and I finally got to go together. I had been keeping an optimistic outlook on today because of the previous low water and the current sustained south winds. We made our way in as the sun was rising. Cloudy, foggy, and SSW winds around 10-15. Bait everywhere. Started off slow. I strung a solid trout on a rapala sub walk. Ryan was using DOA split tail. Action was very slow but bait was nervous everywhere. So topwater it is. Biggest trout about 23-24 hit a top. Lower slot red on top but bait started to settle so I switched to a mullet pattern tail. Fishing in 2.5-3ft over mud and shell. Double limits. One red fish.

Water was trout green in some places and clear in others. Natural colors were the ticket.

Incredible! Havent jumped any trout on top since august. Not even a blow-up! Nicely done!
