cold hunting in the hill country

i have been Hunting in fredericksburg area near enchanted rock since last thursday.It was 25 degrees or colder the whole entire time we let our deer and pigs hang overnight and they froze solid we had to put them in walk in cooler with portable heater to thaw them!! lol total was 11 pigs and 8 deer mostly does and a couple of cull bucks was a fun time had!!

I was in lampasas and killed a doe, a spike, and saw ins of deer. It was 14 there yesterday morning. The kids were riding 4 wheelers and saw a wounded doe from another lease and right next to the doe was a nice 7 pt dead.
