I've been traveling for work a lot lately. I got home from a long trip about 1p today and spent the afternoon making some shrimp campechana and smoking some sausage.
Somebody was filming a commercial across the street this afternoon. The commercial included JJ Watt and Jason Whitten. I watched them for a bit then went back to the smoker. My kids (along with a good collection of friends, neighbors and passers by) hung around in the rain waiting to talk to JJ. When the shoot was over, he came over and yucked it up with the folks. He signed autographs for the kids and took a group photo.
That was a memorable afternoon. He should have come in for the campechana.
