Skunked again!

Went down to the marsh around Jones bay around 3pm with my kids. I tried everything from my chartruse shedog to Gulp on a cork no luck. Lots of bait and mullet but no signs of redfish. At least I got to try out my new (to me) Chronarch Reel. I picked it up in a pawn shop Saturday Morning for $20. Striped it, cleaned and oiled with a fresh spool it casts like a dream. I only wish it could of hooked up with some wish.

That reel while a little heavier than most...has held up better than my Core50s and 50MGs...excellent drag too! I use them offshore alot for chickies, and larger bait(bar jacks)...even landed a few BIG creveles and good size kings on one...you'll like it!

Yeah, no more magnesium reels for me. The pisser is Shimano could have made the 50's in aluminum.

Good find on the reel,most pawn shops charge just about what things cost new,Ive give up on em cause for the money you can useually get warranty too! and good catch miss Lori!
