Attempted to fish Trinity bay today, but due to road access issues, I ended up hitting Cotton lake....it will most likely be my last visit there for multiple reasons. Took out the scanoe and went for a wade. On a positive note, I did catch my first fish on a Corky (fat boy).This redfish was caught in about 5 feet of water with a fast moving current. Otherwise, slow day for me. Enjoying my progression to lure only fishing.
