            I remember when they first put limits in La. 100 trout and 50 reds per day. We had little trouble reaching limits.

              I remember those days when 80 trout a day was normal. It was never a problem catching more than you could eat. If I remember correctly, size for trout was 12 inches and redfish was 14.

                Trout are still 12 in La, and redfish are 16. I don't keep trout under 14 unless my dad is with me. If he's there, everything 12.1 inches goes in the box or there's caterwaulin'.
