Braid with mono leader/ Test?

Sawdust doesn't post much but is an outstanding angler. He's giving me the liberty to say 12# big game with a fluro leader tied with a blood knot.

i use 10lb tied to 20lb fluorocarbon leader with a small barrel swivel.
