  • Added Reese stern tie downs ($40.00) Love 'em.

After our discussion of boats coming off of trailers last week, I broke the bank and spent $40.00 for Reese stern tie downs. Installed them last week, and think they are great!

Easy on and easy off. Safe, and they make it a no-brainer to fasten the stern tight. Can't believe that I messed with that strap for as long as I did.

Hey Rich... don't they make a Stainless version?

Since this little tinny (1652 G3) is now used at my TN. Summer place, I doubt that I will need stainless.

If I used them in the bay, then, yes, I'd have to flush/rinse/ and coat with Corrosion blocker after every launch. Even then, you'd probably only get a couple of seasons out of them. richg99

One feature that I like about the Reese's is that they stay bolted to the trailer and roll right up. But, for saltwater, stainless is far better. richg99
