Went to my boss's place in Key Largo for some 2019 "planning". Wednesday we headed offshore in his 35' Contender looking for mahi...but seas were 4 - 6' so we swung around and went closer inshore to dive for lobster.
I'd never done this and it's a very cool deal. Just a mask, snorkel and fins in 8 - 10' of water. You dive down with a net and a 3 ft tickle stick...find lobster hiding in holes or under rock ledges, and coax them out into the net.
It was a great plan B!
