me n my dad went to the reservoir at his job in alvin. my second cast boom keeper bass. the day continued to be quick action for about 2 hours but we only kept 3 largemouth bass, 1 white bass and the weirdest catch of the day a black drum. i did a little research on it and i found out that it was a type of freshwater drum. never knew there were any freshwater drum. may post pics after tommorows trip. we fried today right after we got home

That would be a Gaspergou or "gasper", big uglies' little ugly freshwater cousin! Used to catch lots of 'em fishing for channel cats on Ft. Phantom lake when I was a kid.
