Went to my informal meeting last week and armed with photos of the interior of my 48 year old house I got $7,000 knocked off the evaluation for "condition of property". There's a formula they use to figure this, so if you have a crappy shower, bad sheetrock/wall paneling, old windows, etc. take photos and get a few dollars off your taxes.
Oh yeah, and if you're at the old 10' piling height you can get another decrease yearly for "sub-standard piling height".
