Based on what we were hearing on numbers we decided to fish deeper water in East Bay. We were on our spot by 630 and there were a few other boats in the area but further west than where we were anchoring. The morning current was extremely fast and trying to reposition we managed to foul the anchor before settling back in. Water started to green around 730 and by 800 it was a trout every cast. Fishing remained steady until around 1000 by which time we had 3 limits in the box and working on number 4. We continued to catch our last limit and were headed back in by 1130. Most fish were in the 17-19in range with 2 to 20 and overall were about 60ish total with plenty of throwbacks. We caught several bonnet heads, a sheepshead, some gaftop, and Aqua Pimp hook what we can only guess was a Jack that spooled his reel and broke off. This was my 3rd trip with Capt. Greg and we really enjoyed our day. He is very hard working and we had the best fishing trip by numbers ever. If you are looking for a meat haul or just a good wade guide we highly recommend giving him a call. Thanks again to the Pimp i know everyone was more than pleased and will be thinking about it when we fry up today.
