Here are some pics of my small garden. I usually plant 3 tomatoes, but went with 5 this year.
The cold weather has slowed them down. Normally they would be over 6 feet tall and I would
                already be picking ripe ones.
They are about 4.5 feet tall and the harvest still looks a month or so away.

Looking good fellas .. BABY TRANS CAT ...fertilizer .HAR! I've battled black spot and bugs in the few container pots I've tried growing tomatoes . Peppers are easier . Got herbs . I've wanted to try a garden .. !Maybe will . Something rewarding about harvesting food you produced .

Do you guys have much trouble with insects and disease ? One year I grew tomatoes in a pot ( I absolutely love homegrown tomatoes ) and they didn't turn out well , but the point is I checked them one morning and there was this massive tomato catapilar devouring it . Where the heck do those come from ? I mean it was specific for tomatoes and I never planted them before and this thing comes from across the globe to eat my plant !

Tomato cut worms. I hate those things. They can devour a whole crop in no time. I thing they spontaneously generate. Seems like they come from nowhere.

Yeah , how do they survive when you are not around growing tomatoes to feed them ?
