Greens Lake Entrance

Greetings FWE,

I've got a question for the West Bay brain trust about getting into Greens lake from the ICW. Is there a specific side of the entrance I need to be closer to to avoid any shallow spots? I tried to idle in a couple of months ago straight up the middle on a low tide but started kicked up mud pretty quickly after getting out of the ICW channel and ended up turning around. Didn't feel brave enough to try it on plane at the time. I run a 19 ft Pathfinder TV.

I've got a pretty good sense of where/what to avoid once I'm in Greens, just looking for some guidance on the best way to get into Greens initially

Stay on the far left (south side) as you enter. Don’t cut right too fast. Plenty of water over on that south side. I was in there on Tuesday. It’s got the normal compliment of winter time green moss growing on the bottom. Makes for crappy lure throwing.
