  • Duck Rig - Nearing Completion

It's been a long road... I started with a different year truck about 3 years ago. I have since upgraded to a newer version, this one is a 1999 Suzuki Carry. It's a Japanese right hand drive mini truck. 3 CYL engine, 4x4. The good news is that this one is slightly larger in the interior, has EFI and most importantly has A/C!

So a couple of years ago I sold the old truck to a guy and immediately bought this one.

The rear rack, I kept from my old truck and put into use on this one. Here it is mounted up. It has basically stayed like this for 2 years.

However, over the last couple of seasons I've made some minor changes.

Repaired A/C (compressor would kick on but engine wouldn't idle up - wiring issues)
    Added bumpers
    Added a winch
    Added a set of mattracks
    Added better shocks
    Added front coil springs
Repaired front CV axle that was leaking
Added a LSD (limited slip differential) to the rear 3rd member
Custom paint job by Camo Designs by Ricky (if you need his information let me know)

I am waiting on some LED headlights and once installed she will be ready for the lease. I was going to put a top over the rear seats but TXSHOCKWAVE is all tied up with work. I'll have to get with him early next year when he's off his 12 on 12 off schedule.

So today, here she is... ready for the season!

Very cool. Only thing it needs now is pontoons and an outboard.
