Corky fat boy , original, and peanut .... chartreuse / orange head is my favorite color . Floaters I use as a top water when it’s shallow or calm . I use them year round , not just winter .

I love a super Spook junior but I also keep a couple hunchbacks in my box. I’ve also got a lot of confidence in my corky fat boys and mirrodynes.

A thought not original to myself about top water lures hookups or non hookups is how can a fish be all over a top water and not hook up ? It’s theorized that in some instances that the volume of water pushed ahead of an attacking fish will push the topwater away from the fish because of the lures buoyancy . A floater corky dancing along the surface is less buoyant and more subsurface resulting in a better chance of a hookup . I may be in danger of thread jacking .
