    Fish thursday early we fill up cooler by day break all sand trouts not a bad fishing trip

    I dont always drink beer, but when i do , I prefer to be fishing !!!!!

      I always cook them the same day. They do get mushy.

            Used to do that then my uncle showed me if you want to freeze them first just gut them and freeze them whole then filet them when ever you get ready to cook them, keeps from getting mushy

              I've never seen Sandies get mushy...although i hear everybody saying it.All the Sandies i froze were not mushy.

                          I hear they get mushy too and when cleaning them and cooking them they seem to have a slightly softer texture but, we try to only keep them if they are 14/15+ inches and they seem to keep ok.
