Fished from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Invited a co-worker of 20 years who was celebrating his 50th b-day this week. He is an old school popping cork with live shrimp fisherman. Live shrimp out fished my arties this day which was good. Caught 20+ trout while only six of those measured. Couple of reds, with 1 in the slot and 1 bonus flounder.

Planned on hitting the north shore and back lakes, however first stop was on the south shore and never left. Fished 2 coves with both producing the same pattern. I was throwing slamming chicken assassins and lil johns on a 1/16" head.

Nice report. Thanks. I'm trying to get a hall pass for Sunday.

Nice. Popping corks aren't particularly well regarded by some folks, but the frequently produce good fish.
