0 in Hockley area. Could have shot 5 if I was a badass shot. Should have had 2, but I didn't shoot at enough to "warm up" (at least that's my excuse). Hardly any flying around. Slowest dove opener ever. Gonna head W. next time...Comment

Lost my dove place last year and haven't found a new one , so I think I am going to try a few different day rate places around the area this yearI dont always drink beer, but when i do , I prefer to be fishing !!!!!

I missed the opener for the first time since I was a kid. Was traveling on business. From the reports above...and reports I received from several buddies...doesn't sound like I missed much action.
I'm still ate up with fishing though...

Saw one group fly by at my new braunfels/canyon lake place but only had a beer in my hand instead of shotgun!
