This past week and a half have made me work hard. Sight fishing conditions have been a little less than perfect with tides a little higher and clouds hanging around more than I would like. The worst of it has often been the weaker tide movement. This combination just makes things tough.
We have however still caught redfish on every trip, though not near as many as when conditions are in our favor.
Still finding more than enough fish to keep us busy, including a few small schools and an occasional larger school of 20-40 tailing fish. Overall, I won't complain, still having the numbers we have and for them to still be shallow this late in the year is more than we have had for several years.
