  • Hole in 1

It's not often you get to experience one...

My wife hit a great shot on the number 4 hole at Walden today. The ball hit once on the green and rolled forward towards the pin. She didn't see it fall in but I started yelling and knew she had just done something truly special. I was able to get the drive up to the green and our walk to the pin on video.

    Enjoy!

She already out drinks me... can't wait to see what she'll do next!

I am having issues uploading the video. I'll try from my computer tomorrow.

Man, that's quite an achievement! My dad played from age 22 to 74. He never had one, and he was a legit 3-5 handicap for many years. (Well, to be honest he did have his own unique set of rules.) My brother started when he was 30 and got one his 5th time out. He also has 3 eagles. I hit close to one once when I skulled my shot off some concrete rip-rap in the middle of a pond. It popped straight up in the air and landed fried egg style 5 inches from the hole. Funny thing is, that's exactly how, on the very same hole years earlier, my brother got his ace.

            Congrats to Barbie!
