  • Another BIB trip in the ULM

    I guess the trout heard we were coming but nobody told the reds. Caught nice reds all weekend around the spoil islands. The wind was fierce but created a strong wind driven current. The topwater bite was great in the morning and I landed my PB red on a topwater (not pictured). Nothing like reds on the half shell cooked over a campfire after a day on the kayak.

    Looking forward to getting back to West Bay.

      Yessir! He was bedded down in the current between a couple of spoil islands. I didn't measure him but he was a good one!
