Flapper and I are fishing the CAT (Crappie Anglers of Texas) Qualifier on Lake Belton this weekend.
It will be our first time fishing Belton. We should be in full spawn right now which puts the fish shallower over structure.
We finished 3rd with only 6 fish in an event last year which was on Palestine. It just so happens this year the championship for the CAT is on Palestine!
We will be able to qualify by placing in the top 3 in any qualifier or by fishing and checking in at 2 events. Saturday should be interesting! If we don't get a top 3 place we can fish the Lake Fork event later this year before the two day championship in the Fall.
