Confederate Reef 12/23 and 12/26
Went with my Father in law and bro in law on the 23rd got there about 7 drifted for about three hours and picked up 9 trout from 16 - 19 " and three reds in between 29 - 31 " all on soft Down South Lures dark with chartruse ( not spelling that right but you know what I mean ) then went back on the 26 with my dad and father in law got out about 8 drifted the same areas picked up most of our fish in the deeper guts the water temp was around 8 - 10 degrees warmer finished with 5 in the box with a bunch of dinks thrown back . Pretty good way to spend the holidays , normally I would be hunting but the life of an on-call oilfield worker sucks lol
