  • 7/11/15 Walking west bay report

    Hit the water around 9:30PM with 4 guys. Went to the oyster reefs east of 8mile and got a few and then a boat showed up and dropped off a few people up the canal so we went to the end of Soprtsman and got 10 doormats in less than 30 min. Hung around for a while longer a got a few more and got ended up 1 shy of bag limit for all 4 guys.

    Tide was decent (not great) and water was clear. Wind from the SW IIRC. Skeeters were bad for the guy who said, "I usually don't get bit" when we offered him some Off. Click image for larger version

      thanks. took two new guys. cleaning the fish took much longer than expected but at least they learned.

              Great catching! Had a friend who rented a place a couple of weeks ago on Sportsman..., feeding frenzy in the lights.
