While Jhua and BubbasKenner were killing them in Trinity, I was working the shoreline in East Bay. I didn't have as much luck. I fished from about 6:30a to 9:30a on protected shoreline. Wind was blowing 15 kts + all morning, cloudy skies and a bit of rain. It was 45 when I jumped in. I saw a little bit of moving bait but not much, a flip or two here or there. I caught one decent speck on a Corky Devil. Happy to have it.
The only glimpse I got of the sun was when it came up, shortly after it went behind the clouds and that was it.
It was chilly, you got to be mad at those fish to be out on these days. I love it.
Here's the lone victim. Took a picture and let it go. Went a touch over 3# on the boga.
Tight lines everybody.
