Below is a link to my review of the Ardent Reels Apex Tournament Series. As most of you know I fish mostly freshwater and brackish so I haven't tested these in saltwater. The were designed for bass fishing but so were a lot of the reels we have come to use fishing the bays. I'm sure with the proper care after each trip they could make some fine reels for y'all not looking to spend 2-300 bucks on a reel. Will let you be the judge if you want to give them a try or not.
