Dunno about Corpus, but no gigging in November... and the bag limit is 2 per day. Welcome aboard.

ASK THE LOCALS . HOOK AND LINE makes fishing maps with bank fishing/access in mind . areas marked wade fishing could be potential sites . shallow areas , light wind , incoming tide as you probably know are key factors . good luck .

Don't you get a ticket for being in the water there now?

That's only in the pass itself... If you are on the bay side of the pass you are okay... Just have to make sure you are around the point.

Man it's been a tough year on gigging. I do a lot of gigging out of the Aransas Pass and Rockport area and we have had to work pretty dang hard for a box of fish. The high tides and hurricanes have made an impact this year. Hopefully when the season opens back up in December we will find some bigger fish.

It was an early season this year to get on flounder and get some limits. I got most of my limits early August thru most of the month then tapered out. I know most people tend to wait for the cold fronts but if you do that, you tend to miss out.
