  • 1/20/14 beautiful day/tough catching

Finally had a day to fish as it has been a few weeks, started out late so the fog was not to bad , fishing was slow, weak outgoing tide , 56 water temp, winds south and light. Absolutely beautiful day to be on the water. Fishing was tough, manged 4 trout and 4 reds....all small and caught in snake island area on 1/16 jigs. Ran down to the pass and tried a several spots with no success. A log time friend and co- worker joined me, wish I could have generated a better catching day for him, but thankful I was at least able take him away from the daily grind for a day.

Just being on the water makes it a good day.

Thanks for the report. Me and H.Maier had the same luck-practically none, but it was a beautiful day.
