extremewaderdude88 and i hit it up this morning. we got to the spot around 7 and starting fishing. Ryan got bit immediately but we couldn't get anything hooked for about 10 min and i finally caught a dink. it seemed like we hit a school of dinks with only a few small keepers (16-18) mixed in. we strung about 4 each out of that school and walked into another. there were some better fish mixed in this one. ryan kept loosing some nice fish with his new rod lol took a while to get used to it for him. when that school left i had 8 on the stringer and ryan had about 6. it seemed like the bite stopped as we moved around following the bait. finally i got another hit and a solid 21" trout came to hand. made a cast in the same spot and brought another 20" to hand to fill my limit out.caught several more from there releasing them all and ryan filled out his limit also. bite stopped there so we moved further and on and on and on lol. by the time we got back to the boat it was 1:30. final tally was around 30 keeper trout to 26" and 3 reds to 22". ironic thing was after we had a limit is when the bigger fish showed them selfs. it was just as much fun releasing them though. checked out some other spots that were all dead so we went and had lunch at 3:30 then went out around chocolate and noticed we had low oil and low fuel lol......ooooops!! we didnt fish at chocolate and on the way back i could just hear the motor spudder but thank god it didnt and we were back on fumes lol. great to get back on the water agian and i had a blast!
