Cold Frigid Hands- 1/2/17 Report

I decided to brave the cold yesterday afternoon. With this cold snap, I targeted deeper areas with some mud and shell. It paid off in spades. Caught close to a limit of trout and 2 reds using a saltwater assassin in space guppy. The bite was super light and for the most part, I picked the bait up and it would feel mushy. I essentially set the hook on anything that remotely felt like a fish. Had a couple fish almost pull the rod out of my hands though. I was still getting bites but with ice forming on my reel and kayak, I had to call it a day. I would have more pictures, but at some point, my hands were icicles.
